yindigoFour members of indie/pop group, Yindigo were overjoyed at being given the opportunity by Wight Stars CIC to perform on the main stage at Cowes Week 2013 last Sunday.

After becoming good friends at ‘Platform 1’s Saturday Rock-school’, the band started getting together each week to write & practice original music and covers of songs and since then have gone from strength to strength, playing at some prime gigs here on the Isle of Wight.

yindigo2The band are regular performers at ‘Rob Da Banks Music Centre’, where they showcase a lot of their original compositions, which are written by band member Jazzy.

Now, the four-member band made up of Jazzy, Will, Max and Micheal are now set to play at Post Fest 2013 on the 24th & 25th August; and Jazzy has also been asked to play at the annual V-Dub Festival.

The music scene is now more alive than ever on the Island and Yindigo are rapidly pushing forward into the top spot.
