Businesses – from accommodation and attractions providers to shops and museums – are invited to call in at any time between 10:00 and 16:00 at the following venues, to meet the team and to discuss any tourism-related issue in a relaxed and informal setting:
Mon 19th August – IW Steam Railway, http://www.iwsteamrailway.co.uk/
Tuesday 20th August – Ventnor Botanic Garden, http://www.botanic.co.uk/
Wednesday 21st August – Medina Valley Centre, http://www.medinavalleycentre.co.uk
Thursday 22nd August – IW Zoo, http://www.isleofwightzoo.com/
Friday 23rd August – IW Pearl, http://www.iowpearl.co.uk/
David Thornton, Chief Executive of Visit Isle of Wight, said:
“These tourism sessions provide an opportunity to meet with tourism operators on a face to face basis so that information can be delivered, questions asked and feedback collected. It’s a chance for everyone to make a contribution.
“We are especially keen to share our thoughts for future themes and advertising campaigns whilst collecting feedback and advice about our consumer website (www.visitisleofwight.co.uk) before commissioning our next stage of web developments. “
