timadamsyarmouthharbourFormer Deputy Harbour Master, Tim Adams, who has been a key team member at Yarmouth for the past year, will be taking command as Chief Executive from next month, it has been announced.

Working alongside the Harbour Commissioners, he will continue to develop the Port as one of the most desirable yachting destinations on the UK’s South Coast.

Future projects include the redevelopment of the breakwater and upgrades to Yarmouth Pier. The Navitus Bay Wind Farm project could also lead to further development work as a support facility for marine operations.

Managing the harbour on a daily basis is still a busy job, with increasing numbers of visiting yachts and regular events based from Yarmouth.

Chris Lisher stands down as from the 3rd November, and will be retiring at the end of the year, after a long and successful tenure.
