ISLANDER TERRY SMITH COMPLETES 255-MILE THAMES RING ULTRA MARATHON

Ryde man Terry Smith completed the gruelling 255-mile Thames Ring ultra marathon on Saturday (26th April), 1 of just 8 to complete the full course out of 37 starters. 37-year-old Terry finished what is considered to be the longest non-stop race in Europe in a time of 84 hours, 47 minutes and 28 seconds, to complete the course in joint 4th place.
