Members of the National Union of Teachers have announced strike action for Tuesday 5th July.

Schools listed as ‘Open’ have confirmed they will be open on the day, whilst any schools with a blank status are not yet in a position to confirm if they will be affected by the strike action. Any schools listed as ‘Partially Closed’ have information included as to which year groups are affected. Any schools listed as ‘Closed’ will not be open at all (unless additional info is listed).

Parents should assume schools will be open as normal until advised otherwise and are urged to check this page throughout the week for any last minute changes. The below lists of Isle of Wight schools will be updated as soon as confirmation is given.

Teachers are under no obligation to inform their employers if they are striking or not until 07:00 on the morning itself, so do check back on Tuesday for the latest information.
