“We are absolutely delighted to have won the Best in the Relax and Explore category. This award recognises the efforts and commitment every member of the team puts in; all of whom are responsible in ensuring our customers have a great holiday experience. This award proves hard work reaps rewards and we aim to continue to deliver great UK holidays for the remainder of the year and into 2014.

“Hoseasons is one of the largest self-catering holiday companies in the UK, so winning one of these awards means St Helens Holiday Park is one of the UK’s most popular and successful locations in our portfolio,” said Simon Altham, Managing Director for Hoseasons. “Like many holiday companies the business has built on the strong success of UK holidays in 2013, and we look forward to helping locations continue to develop and grow throughout 2014.”

The Gala Dinner was part of an industry event hosted by Hoseasons designed to review the past 12 months in tourism and address the issues and challenges facing UK holidays in 2014.

The awards were presented by Geoff Ballotti, President and CEO of Wyndham Exchange & Rental – the parent company of Hoseasons.

The awards are broken down into region and type of holiday experience and presented to the Lodges and Parks who have independently achieved the highest scores in the Hoseasons customer satisfaction surveys. In total there were 24 winners and 46 runners up across the UK.
