Aegir Nautical, a unique team building, training and development company based in Lymington, are continuing to offer, for the remainder of this week, an unique way to spectate at this year’s Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week.
Normally used for search and rescue scenarios, the company are offering visitors to Cowes Week the chance to spectate from the water onboard their ex-RNLI Tyne class lifeboat, to help spread the word of the work Aegir Nautical do.
Departing from Trinity Landing on Cowes Esplanade at 11:00 and 13:00, each trip lasts 2 hours, taking in the racing action on The Solent with a great insight into the sport of sailing by a former RNLI coxswain for just £25 per person.
Island Echo took to the water with the team yesterday (Wednesday) and experienced up-close racing at the heart of the action, all from the safety and comfort of ‘Odin’.
