Police are today appealing for witnesses to come forward following an assault on a man at Newport Bus Station this weekend.
Between 03:00 and 03:15 on Saturday, a 21-year-old man was been attacked by three youths whilst waiting to get the bus home. He sustained facial injuries during the assault and attended St Mary’s hospital where he was x-rayed for a suspected fractured cheek.
The attackers are described as being between 18 and 19 years old.
