Hampshire Constabulary are tonight appealing for witnesses to come forward after a teenager was indecently assaulted on her way to Newport Bus Station.
The incident took place at around 19:00 on Monday evening as the 17-year-old girl was walking along the High Street near Castlehold Lane. She was grabbed from behind by a man.
Thankfully, the unnamed woman managed to break free, but was left shaken by the incident.
