The Met Office have warned for a wet weekend with yellow weather warnings in place for both Friday and Sunday.
Bands of rain are expected to move eastwards across the South of England, including the Isle of Wight during Friday. Rainfall accumulations of 10 to 20 mm are expected over most parts, but up to 30 mm or more possible.
Another spell of wet and very windy weather will cross the UK from the west during Sunday. Heavy rain and gales are likely to affect most areas for a time with further flooding possible from 06:00.
With the ground saturated over much of the region, Island residents should be aware of the risk of further local flooding and associated disruption.
