MAN INJURED IN BUS STATION FIGHT


policebackPolice on the Isle of Wight are  this week appealing for witnesses to come forward after a fight was reported at Newport Bus Station in the early hours of Sunday morning.

At about 01:40, a 19-year-old man was injured whilst attempting to break up a fight between two groups of people at the number 5 bus stand.

He suffered facial injuries and needed hospital treatment for cuts to his eye after he was knocked to the ground and repeatedly punched and kicked.
