“Although the late night Red Jet timetable will be slightly different Monday to Thursday compared to Friday to Sunday, customer feedback suggests it will benefit a wide range of Islanders and their friends and family who visit from the mainland. If the trial proves popular with customers we hope to make the change permanent in the 2015 timetable”.

Andrew Turner, MP for the Isle of Wight, said:

“I am encouraged that Red Funnel are trialling changes to their timetabled services in response to public feedback and I‘m also pleased they will be listening to the actual experiences of their customers before making these changes permanent.  The connecting buses into Newport will also be important for many people.  I very much welcome this initiative.”
