The american movie drive-in experience is coming to the Isle of Wight for the first time this June thanks to the efforts of a new Island venture.
Islanders are being given the chance to watch three all-time favourite movies on the big screen from the comfort of their own motor thanks to Sunset Boulevard Drive-In Movies between 20th-22nd June.
It is the first time a drive-in movie event has been held on the Isle of Wight and will be the only open air cinema event this year. Films will be screened on a whopping top of the range LED screen that boasts stunning visuals even in bright sunshine and will be constructed in the car park of Amazon World in Newchurch.
Movie lovers will be able to roll up, park up and tune the car radio into a unique frequency for the audio to be streamed directly into each vehicle, alongside mega surround sound speakers boosting the whole experience. Delicious popcorn, candy floss, hot dogs and other beverages will all be on sale each evening making it the All American experience to remember.
One movie will be shown each night for three nights from 19:45, with gates opening at 18:30.
