Hovertravel is providing a package of measures to help next weekend’s Walk The Wight (Sunday 11th May) with the addition of extra early morning services to the timetable to allow mainland walkers to travel across the Solent.
In addition to the extra crossings, the cross-Solent company are giving discounts to mainland walkers and are also participating in the walk with a team called HoverWalkers.
Hovertravel is operating extra crossings on Sunday 11th at 06:30, 07:30 & 08:30 from Southsea to enable mainland walkers to get to the race in time. These are available to book now.
Hovertravel is offering a 50% discount off the standard fares to all mainland walkers. This will be for travel from Saturday 10th May – Monday 12th May 2014. The discount will be available online and in the terminals. To book online, the promo code is WTW14 (walker’s badge will need to be shown at time of boarding with booking confirmation). To book in the terminal, bring along your walker’s badge.
