THE former headteacher of Carisbrooke College, who resigned from the post in March of this year, is set to become the Interim Principal of Sandown Bay Academy, it has been revealed.
Although stating she was returning to the mainland to be close to friends and family, Shaheen Khan-Jones will replace current Principal John Bradshaw, who is leaving the role at Sandown to become an education consultant.
A letter was distributed to staff and students alike yesterday afternoon highlighting current staffing issues and announcing Mrs Khan-Jones’ appointment at the school.
