sandhamridesPolice are today appealing for information to identify two youths after a go-kart was stolen from a Sandown amusement park.

Officers are trying to identify two youths seen with a Go Kart in Perowne Way at around 20:50 on Tuesday.

The owner of Sandham Rides in Fort Street, Sandown reported a break-in to police on Wednesday when they discovered that the store used to house their petrol driven Go Karts has been broken into and one of the karts removed. The Go Kart was a red Delta Series 2 marked with a number “1”.

The missing Go Kart was recovered later that day by the owner after he found it in Perowne Way.

Witnesses described the two young men they had seen with the Go Kart as white and in their mid to late teens.
