A special service for pedestrians only will be in operation on the Cowes Floating Bridge tonight (Friday) between 18:00 and 23:00.
The only vehicles to be carried between these times will be emergency vehicles, with all other vehicles being diverted via Newport.
There will be restrictions to the number of people allowed on the floating bridge at any one time, with a queuing system in operation from 18:30.
