stevemcfaddenguesthouseTV soap star Steve McFadden, better known as Phil Mitchell from Eastenders, has visited the Isle of Wight this weekend.

Steve and his son Matt headed over on the Red Funnel ferry on Saturday afternoon before making their way to the seaside town of Cowes, where it is said Matt is attending training courses at UKSA.

On screen hard-man Steve, who has starred in the BBC 1 show for 23 years, stayed the night at the Caledon Guest House on Mill Hill Road where he was photographed with co-owner Andrea Longford, who runs the guest house with her husband Mark.

Enjoying the break away from London, Steve took in the sights of Ventnor – popular with celebrities such as Robert Pattinson – as he had a bite to eat at the Spyglass Inn before catching the 16:00 ferry back to the mainland from East Cowes.

The celebrity was also spotted in and around Cowes on Saturday night.
