Eastenders actress Shona McGarty enjoyed a bank holiday weekend trip to the Isle of Wight yesterday (Sunday), despite the rain.
The actress, best known for playing Whitney Dean in the long-running BBC 1 soap, came over to the Island via Wightlink’s Portsmouth-Fishbourne car ferry yesterday morning with her family, before enjoying a day at attractions such as Amazon World.
Taking to Twitter to post a series of photographs, Shona said she was excited to be boarding the cross-Solent ferry and retweeted a tweet from us here at Island Echo wishing her and her family an enjoyable day.
It comes just days after TV comedian Jim Davidson spent time in Yarmouth and football legend Gary Lineker enjoyed a day trip here last Tuesday.
