A local supermarket team has begun their community work in 2014 by putting their Christmas decorations to good use.
The team at Sainsbury’s West Cowes have provided the charity brainstrust with a selection of colourful decorations which were hung over the store’s shop-floor throughout December.
Sainsbury’s West Cowes Store Manager Charlie Bird said:
“We’re delighted to donate these decorations to brainstrust. We received great feedback from our customers on this year’s decorations and it’s great to ensure they’ve found a good home in the community”.
Kim Jeffreys, Support Administrator from brainstrust added:
“After our Christmas activities, we definitely needed some new decorations and these new ones look fantastic! I’d like to say a big thank-you to the team at Sainsbury’s West Cowes for this generous donation. We’ll certainly be putting them to good use!”.
The store will also be working closely with brainstrustby aiding with Tea Fest in late February to raise awareness of brain tumours and other aliments along with fancy dress days, in store collections and social nights .
