Luck ran out for a RIB called Black Magic when it broke down and began drifting off Egypt Point, Cowes yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).
Help however was soon on hand when Cowes Lifeboat arrived on the scene with a tow-rope. The black-hulled RIB, with two men aboard, was taken into Cowes Yacht Haven.
The lifeboat, launched at 16:07 arrived back at the station about an hour later.
