APPEAL AFTER ELDERLY MAN INJURED

ISLAND Police are investigating a report of an elderly man being injured in a collision in Ryde.

It’s alleged a dark coloured Ford Mondeo was reversing from George Street into Roundhouse Mews at 11.45am on Monday (2nd July) when the car collided with a 70-year-old man who was standing on the pavement.

The man fell and received chest and knee injuries. He went to hospital for treatment.
