Due to the closure of Newport Road with the junction of Ocean View Road in Ventnor, Southern Vectis have announced adjustments to tomorrow’s school bus timetable and routes.
MORNING JOURNEYS
106A – Driver instructed to operate 25 minutes earlier throughout journey starting at Mitchell Avenue then divert via Shanklin to St Francis Primary School.
311 – Driver has been instructed to pick up as follows:
0757 Upper Wroxall (for 311 and 312 students)
0802 Wroxall
0825 Sandown Bay Academy
312 – Driver has been instructed to pick up as follows:
0720 Niton – Church Street (for 311 students who have been informed)
0723 Whitwell Church (for 311 students)
0733 Ventnor Boots
0805 Sandown Bay Academy
315 – is likely to be delayed by 10 minutes from the normal times whilst the vehicle is re positioned
316 – Driver has been instructed to operate from St Lawrence at 0740 then operate via Shanklin to turn at York Road and pick up normal route from Upper Ventnor to school
317 – will start from York Road.
319 – should not be affected
330 – Driver has been instructed to operate normal route as far as Ocean View Road and then divert via Whitwell to rejoin the normal route at Godshill. Students in Upper Ventnor and Wroxall will be moved on an additional vehicle (still numbered 330) at the normal times from their stops.
SEN 5 – Appropriate arrangements have been made to pick up students by the most effective manner / route.
