Back in April…
It was a busy month for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance with a series of landings across the Island.
Residents in Brading were amazed to see the large yellow helicopter flying low above the houses as it came into land at the local recreation ground beside the town’s doctors surgery. A patient in their 20s was transferred to a mainland hospital after a lenghy check-over by the air ambulance paramedics.
Just a day later, the Air Ambulance made an appearance again this time at Pell Lane in Ryde for a cardiac patient, who was swiftly transferred to a specialist hospital. Earlier in the month, the air ambulance landed at Simeon Street Rec, also in Ryde.
