Island Scaffold is the latest local company to lend their support to the Wightlink Warriors speedway team for the 2017 season.
The company has provided both rider and photographer viewing platforms that are a very welcome addition to the ever-improving Andrew Younie Smallbrook Stadium.
Tony from Island Scaffold said:
“We have been really impressed with the transformation here at the stadium and the general good feel of the club.
“I was invited by friends to come and speak with the Warriors about some additional needs they had and after seeing the setup for the club and speedway school, the effort by volunteers and the general good feel about the club, we felt it was right for Island Scaffold to get involved.
“All of us would like to wish the team the very best for 2017.”
Wightlink Warriors Commercial Director Barry Bishop said:
“Once again the Island has come out in support of the Wightlink Warriors Speedway Team and the Warrior Way.
“The sense of anticipation as we head in to 2017 is immense and if our Press day and the Vince Mapley Memorial are anything to go by we are in for a great season.
“We are always trying to improve the facilities within our budget and Island Scaffold has given a new dimension to our set up here with rider and photography platforms. The platforms offer the best viewing facility for riders and mechanics in the pits while offering our photographers the opportunity to take pictures from a different elevation which in turn improves the quality of our product.
“It gives me great pleasure to say Island Scaffold, welcome to the Wightlink Warriors Sponsorship Team.”
