TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDERS

Date effective: Friday 15th December 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: –

• The Isle of Wight Council (Hoxall Lane, Brighstone, Isle of Wight)(Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 5 2017

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for two days between 0900 hours and 1600 hours from Thursday 28 December 2017 and Tuesday 2 January 2018, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Hoxall Lane, between its junctions with Chilton Lane and Brook Road.  The alternative route is Brook Road, Hunny Hill and Chilton Lane.  The closure is for ditch and Culvert works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Mill Lane and Wicken Hill, Brighstone, Isle of Wight)(Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 1 2017

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for two days between 0900 hours and 1600 hours from Thursday 28 December 2017 and Tuesday 2 January 2018, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Mill Lane and Wicken Hill, between its junctions with New Road and Muggleton Lane.  The alternative route is New Road, Main Road and Limerstone Road.  The closure is for ditch and Culvert works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Warlands Lane, Shalfleet, Isle of Wight)(Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 4 2017

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between 0900 hours and 1600 hours on Wednesday 27 December 2017 until Friday 29 December 2017, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Warlands Lane, between its junction with Main Road and Fleetway.  The alternative route is A3054 Main Road and Station Road.  The closure is for ditching works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Tulse Hill and Marlborough Road, Ventnor, Isle of Wight)(Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 1 2017

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0800 hours and 1700 hours on Friday 22 December 2017, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Tulse Hill, between its junctions with Grove Road and Marlborough Road and Marlborough Road, from its junction with Grove Road Car Park and High Street, Ventnor.  The alternative route is a) Grove Road, Spring Hill, High Street, Victoria Street, Albert Street, Pier Street and High Street b) Alpine Road, Church Street and High Street. The closure is to enable concrete pouring for a new dwelling.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Tulse Hill, Ventnor, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Revocation of One-Way Restriction) Order 1 2017

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice from 0800 hours until 1700 hours on Friday 22 December 2017, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner, the one-way restriction will be temporarily revoked along Tulse Hill between its junctions with Grove Road and Marlborough Road. The revocation is required whilst concrete pouring is taking place for a new dwelling.

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 21 of the Town Police Clause Act 1847, proposes to make the following Orders: –

• The Isle of Wight Council (High Street and St Johns Road, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 4 2017

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0630 until 1630 hours on Sunday 24 December 2017, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along High Street between Pier Street and Victoria Road and St Johns Road between High Street and Union Road. The diversion will be signposted locally. The closures are required for safety during the Sandown Christmas Eve Fun Day Event.

Notice is hereby given that the following Orders have been made under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: –

• The Isle of Wight Council (Brook Lane, Gatcombe, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 3 2017

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between 0900 hours and 1600 hours on Monday 18 December 2017 until Friday 22 December 2017, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Brook Lane, between its junction with Main Road to the end of the highway.  There is no alternative route.  The closure is for verge repair works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Chine Avenue, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 1 2017

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for three days from 0900 hours and 1600 hours on Monday 18 December until Friday 22 December, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Chine Avenue, between its junction with Alexandra Road to the entrance of Vernon Meadow Car Park.  The diversion is Alexandra Road, Palmerstone Road, High Street. The closure is for carriageway investigation works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Main Road, Thorley and Thorley Street, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2 2017

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for two days between 0900 hours and 1600 hours on Friday 15 December 2017 until Tuesday 19 December 2017, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Main Road, between its junctions with Thorley Road and Broad Lane.  The alternative route is Thorley Road, Bouldnor Road, Yarmouth Road, Ningwood Hill, Station Road and Main Road, Wellow.  The closure is for drainage repair works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Upper Road, Brading, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 3 2017

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between 0900 hours and 1600 hours on Friday 15 December 2017 until Tuesday 19 December 2017, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Upper Road, between its junctions with Lower Road and Bullys Hill.  The alternative route is Upper Adgestone Road, Bullys Hill, The Mall, Hornsey Rise, Morton Road, Broadway, Lake Hill, Sandown Road, Newport Road and Main Road, Alverstone.  The closure is for carriageway repair works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Pelham Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2 2017

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between 0900 hours and 1600 hours on Friday 15 December 2017 until Tuesday 19 December 2017, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Pelham Road, between its junctions with Bridge Road and South Road.  The alternative route is Bridge Road, Arctic Road and South Road.  The closure is for carriageway repair works.

• The Isle of Wight Council (Forelands Field Road, Bembridge, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 1 2017

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one day between 0900 hours and 1600 hours on Friday 15 December 2017 until Tuesday 19 December 2017, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Forelands Field Road, between its junctions with Howgate Road and the end of the public highway.  There is no alternative route. The closure is for carriageway repair works.
