A 35ft motor boat which caught fire and sunk on Wednesday has been removed from Ryde Harbour today (Friday).
A barge-based crane was positioned alongside the wreck this afternoon before it lifted the remains of the vessel out of the water.
The initial incident resulted in black smoke billowing across Ryde before firefighters could tackle the blaze. Unfortunately, the fire could not be brought under control quick enough and the luxury vessel sunk with diesel spilling into the harbour.
Ryde Harbour has been closed to visitors since Wednesday.
