The duo behind an ambitious project to travel to all 2,563 national railway stations in Great Britain will be heading to the Isle of Wight later this month to document Island Line.

Video producer Geoff Marshall and museum education professional Vicki Pipe are travelling the length and breadth of England, Scotland and Wales over the Spring and Summer months to capture the true status of Britain’s railways today for a project entitled ‘All the Stations’.

Their existing transport videos have already accumulated over 5,000,000 hits on YouTube and their adventures on the Isle of Wight will no doubt create further interest, thanks to Island Line’s unique rolling stock.

The journey has just got underway in the West Country thanks to overwhelming support received through a Kickstarter campaign earlier this year, which raised a staggering £38,654.

Geoff and Vicki are expected to be visiting the Island potentially as early as this weekend, where they will visit Ryde Pier Head, Ryde Esplanade, Ryde St John’s, Brading, Sandown, Lake and Shanklin stations.

You can follow their journey on Twitter, Facebook and Youtube.
