SOUTHERN BIG MAN JOIN THE MARCH HARE AT BESTIVAL

ISLAND band Southern Big Man have won this evenings Bestival Band and DJ competition at Northwod House, Cowes.

The group join local DJ The March Hare at successfully securing their places at this years Bestival music festival, to be held in September at Robin Hill Country Park.

A packed out Northwood House played host to the competition, which saw 5 bands and four DJs battle it out in front of the watchful eye of Bestival curator, Rob Da Bank, and Level 42 frontman, Mark King.

Unfortunately one DJ was discovered not to be Island based and therefore was disqualified from the competition.

The Naked Fridays had a shock during the winning announcements as Rob Da Bank received he wants to sign the young group to his record label.
