Medina Theatre plays host to The Last Night at the Proms at 19:00 on Sunday (17th September).

The event will feature the Bel Cantanti Theatre Orchestra, playing host to a number of classic pieces including The Overture to Arthur Sullivan’s Yeoman of the Guard; a selection from the hit musical South Pacific; William Waltons Crown Imperial; a medley from Ivor Novello’s ‘The Dancing Years’ and a James Bond medley.

Last Night at the Proms also welcomes back Ashleigh Mackness and Jack Roberts, who started their journey in theatre on the Isle Of Wight.

The show is presented by Jack Edwards (West End performer) and the evening is conducted by a well known face to the Island’s theatre scene, Andrew Woodford.

Other special guests for the evening are drummers from the Wight Diamonds Marching Band and local piper Dr Keiron Cooney.

This evening of rousing pomp and circumstance ends with the traditional finale.
