ISLANDERS INVITED TO HELP REDESIGN ISLAND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

209

Mental health and Learning Disability services, along with others partners, are currently looking to increase the involvement of people who use such services to advise on the management and redesign of how they are delivered on the Isle of Wight.

The Isle of Wight NHS Trust’s aim is to provide services that are ‘co-produced’ in partnership with the people who use them.

The Trust currently has a ‘Service User and Carer Link’ role that is vacant and it is hoped that the position can be filled by somebody who has personal experience of using mental health or learning disability services.

An open session for anyone interested in applying for the role is being held at the Education Centre, St Marys Hospital, Newport between 13:30-16:30 on Friday 19th January 2018.

Refreshments will be provided and any Parking charges will be refunded.
