This Easter saw McCarthy and Stone’s Silver Sands Court Retirement Living development open its doors to the Bembridge community, where retirees and their families were invited to hop along and take part in a chocolaty-filled Easter egg hunt and enjoy a drink with some traditional hot cross buns.

Laurie Currie, Sales Executive at Silver Sands Court, comments:

“With Easter traditionally a time of year for all the family to get together, we thought it would be an ideal occasion to host a relaxed open day where people could pop in and out, and with some fun activities like our Easter egg hunt that their families and grandchildren could enjoy too.

“At McCarthy and Stone, we recognise that downsizing is a decision to be made by the whole family which is why it’s so important we have regular days like these that everyone can come along to, and which aim to provide valuable advice about planning for the future.

“The event itself was very busy with lots of people taking the opportunity to tour the development, and with plenty of chocolate eggs given out in the process! All of our homeowners got thoroughly stuck into the Easter egg hunt- in fact it was great to see a bit of healthy competition as we teamed up to search high and low and discover them first.”
