ISLAND ROADS STAFF RAISE £400 ON CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY

Staff at Island Roads got into the festive spirit on Friday by taking part in Christmas Jumper Day. Snazzy jumpers were donned in aid of Save the Children, with a total of £45 raised. WIGHTLINK REMEMBERS RESPECTED CREWMAN ROB GODDARD

Wightlink staff have paid tribute to their colleague Rob Goddard, a senior rating on the Lymington-Yarmouth route. Rob was remembered by his friends and family at a ceremony on board the ferry Wight Sky recently. He died in October. A plaque in his memory was unveiled on the ship’s rescue boat by Wightlink Chief Executive Keith Greenfield and Rob’s widow, Jackie. …
