PHOTO GALLERY: A capsized boat has been hauled ashore by Freshwater Independent Lifeboat this afternoon (Monday).

The volunteer crew were called into action at just before 13:40 when a small pleasure boat started taking on water around 1 mile south of Freshwater Bay.

A passing vessel managed to quickly rescue the casualty crew, but the boat capsized before the lifeboat could get on scene.

Lifeboat crew members have now towed the boat into the Bay, hauled it ashore and righted it.

No one has been injured in the incident.
